Meet Dr. Lin

Raised in Victoria, TX, Dr. Steven Lin graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Biology and continued his studies at University of Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry where he obtained his Doctorate of Optometry degree. In his last year of clinical training, Dr. Lin did his internships at the Peoria, VA Clinic and Lackland Air Force Base, providing care for active duty members and veterans as well for their families. Dr. Lin then joined Zoom Eyecare in Victoria, TX in 2023 prior to establishing his own practice, SL Eyevision in 2026.

Dr. Lin is a board certified therapeutic optometrist providing examinations for glasses and contact lenses, cataract consultation and co-management. He is also a certified Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. ​His range of knowledge in optometry includes providing treatment and management of ocular diseases including dry eyes, ocular allergies, minor ocular injuries.

During his free time, Dr. Lin enjoys exploring the diverse Houston food scene on the weekends, spending time with his beloved French bulldog Peaches, and enjoys staying active.
